In Verona, a long-standing, violent feud between the Montague and Capulet families causes constant chaos, prompting the Prince to threaten death for further disruptions. Amidst this, Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet fall in love at first sight and marry in secret. Their romance is quickly derailed by family vengeance, resulting in Romeo’s banishment after killing Juliet’s cousin, Tybalt. A failed plot to reunite with each other results in both lovers meeting their untimely ends, which ultimately forces the grieving families to make peace.
