Teacher Appreciation Celebration

Celebrate an Amazing Educator in Your Life

Enter a teacher, teaching artist, librarian, or other educator who made a difference for a chance to win a prize from Childsplay Theatre

Educators shape the lives of young people every day through creativity, encouragement, and care. Childsplay is proud to celebrate the teachers and educators who inspire curiosity and imagination in their students and communities.

Enter an educator who has made a meaningful impact in your life for a chance to be recognized during our Teacher Appreciation Celebration and receive a special prize package from Childsplay Theatre.

All educators entered in the drawing will receive discounted tickets for an Educator Performance of The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane the Musical at the Herberger Theater Center.

In addition, five educators will be selected through a random drawing to receive a prize package valued at over $1,000, including:

  • 4 complimentary tickets to The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane the Musical

  • A family four-pack of tickets to any show in Childsplay’s 50th Anniversary Season (2026–2027)

  • A school performance of Don't Look at the Duendes in Fall 2026

  • A drama workshop for their class

  • A Gift Card for Dining and Shopping

  • Books and materials for their classroom

Who Is an Educator?

An educator may be anyone who helps young people learn, grow, and discover their creativity. This includes classroom teachers as well as librarians, coaches, teaching artists, arts educators, administrators, and other adults who support young people in educational settings.

If someone has helped shape your learning, curiosity, or confidence, we consider them an educator worth celebrating.
