The Actor's Tools (body, voice, and imagination) form the building blocks of acting every performer uses in theatre. This class will contain an overview of these critical tools required for crafting any performance. This is an excellent introduction to acting for students new to drama and an excellent review of the fundamentals for more experienced young performers.
Acting Essentials engages through a fast-paced curriculum of drama activities. Each class includes specific instructions in theatre skills, making every session unique. Acting Essentials may be repeated multiple times with new content, new challenges, and new opportunities for growth. Students do not need to have taken previous classes to succeed in this course.
