Carol Webb is thrilled to be collaborating with the Childsplay Theatre Academy education team! Carol has been a general music, group and private voice teacher for 11 years and her private lesson students have received numerous AriZoni, NYA and NATS awards and nominations. She has also served in just about every capacity for musical theatre and play productions, including acting, stage managing, front of house, bookkeeping, costume design and production, enrollment, accounts receivable, accounts payable, music directing, directing, parent liaison, sound design, lighting design and set design. Carol has received AriZoni & NYA awards for her music direction, set design, sound design and original composition for Limelight Youth Theatre. On stage, she has had the amazing privilege to perform the roles of Queen Aggravain in Once Upon a Mattress, Lucy in YAGMCB, Aunt Eller in Oklahoma, Jack’s Mother in Into the Woods (CGCC) and Mrs. Pugh in Annie Warbucks (FHT). Carol is also a full-time ride-share driver and owns her own tax preparation business. I guess you could say Carol likes to keep things interesting! In her spare time, Carol likes to travel and she took her electric Nissan Leaf around the perimeter of the country last summer just for fun! Pennsylvania is a favorite destination.
