In William Shakespeare's comedy A Midsummer Night’s Dream, characters make countless failed attempts to control fate. People get lost in the woods. A mischievous fairy plays pranks and tricks on them resulting in a comical and exciting tale. Did the events of the evening happen or was it all just a dream?
Take center stage with this skill-intensive performance class! Students refine acting skills through the process of auditioning, rehearsing, and performing in a play taught by professional actors, directors, and choreographers straight off Childsplay's stages. The first two weeks of rehearsals are on our main campus and the final week students rehearse at the Tempe Center for the Arts with final performances on the last day of class.
