Matilda is an extraordinary girl who takes a stand against her child-hating head mistress with the help of her courageous friends. Full of high energy catchy tunes, the children are rising up against Ms. Trunchbull and her unjust school in this musical ode to the anarchy of childhood and the power of imagination. Matilda dreams of a better life and the "revolting children "who are out to teach the grown-ups a lesson and build a better world.
In a Musical Marathon, participants polish singing, dancing, and acting skills while learning a musical in a week! Directed by professional theatre artists, each script contains familiar songs from musicals or pop culture. After a week of intensive training, participants share a workshop performance for family and friends at Childsplay's campus.
