ALL dragons love tacos. Big dragons, tiny dragons, green dragons, and even polka dot dragons! Which kind of dragon will your student create? They will get to explore the creative drama process of making a unique character, and learn what happens when dragons eat spicy salsa!
Drama develops a child's creative thinking, cooperation, and literacy skills. In this class, stories launch exciting adventures. We create literature-based lessons and act along with students as they develop natural dramatic abilities through creative play, narrative pantomime, and story drama. This class is a perfect entry point for a student who is ready to play, laugh, learn, and explore through drama. On the last day of class, families will be invited back towards the end of the day for an informal class sharing. The sharing will be comprised of a showcase of the activities the students learned throughout the week, an oppurtunity for students to talk about the skills they learned, and often times will include original scenes developed by the students and/or singing and choreography (depending on the class topic). Sharings will take place directly in their classroom and due to limited space, we ask that only immediate family attend.
