"It’s that time of year when Ms. Taft’s class starts learning about American History. And just like every year, she’s met with the usual moans and groans about how boring history can be. But not this time. Because this year, she has a secret weapon: a magical screen that can video chat with anyone from history—including Alexander Hamilton himself!
What starts as a fun surprise takes a wild turn when historical figures begin stepping out of the screen and into the classroom. Suddenly, the Revolutionary War is happening right in the middle of school! Now, the class must work together to send these famous figures back to their own time before things get completely out of hand.
This short musical features some of your favorite songs from your favorite hip-hop musical and brings history to life like never before!"

In a Musical Theatre Marathon, participants polish singing, dancing, and acting skills while learning a musical in a week! Directed by professional theatre artists, each script contains familiar songs from musicals or pop culture. After a week of intensive training, participants share a workshop performance for family and friends at Childsplay's campus.
