Jami Kratz could not be more thrilled to be joining the Childsplay ensemble as both a teaching artist and production staff member this year! Although this is her first year at Childsplay, previous scenic design credits include: Ada & the Engine (Ethington Theatre), 12 Angry Jurors (Ethington Theatre), and Newsies (Sunrise Stages). Her favorite previous acting credits include: Big Fish (Ethington Theatre), Emma (AzCAM), and You're A Good Man Charlie Brown (MoezArt Productions). Last year, Jami received both the Vector Works Award and the National Finalist KCACTF Award for Theatrical Excellence in Scenic Design for her scenic design of Ada & the Engine. She will graduate in 2026 from Grand Canyon University with a BA in Theatre for Secondary Education and is looking to purse an MFA in Scenic Design. Her teaching experience ranges from pre-k to high school students and loves pouring into the upcoming generation of theatrical artists. :)
