Discovering the actor's approach to and playing of comedy and humor monologues, exploring the technical precision and spontaneous approach. Skills studied will include timing, focus, choreography, and the mechanics of how a joke builds from set up to punchline... This doesn’t sound funny, does it? As the saying goes, “dying is easy, COMEDY is hard..” Is a rubber chicken funny? We’ll find out!
These specialized workshops are an opportunity to learn more about specific areas of theatre and performance. Varying skill levels and ages may participate in Theatre Intensives, although some previous experience is recommended.
