Gracie Ruiz (she/her) is excited to join the Childsplay team as the Academy Associate! She recently graduated with her BFA degree in Theatre from The University of Montana and is an alumnus of Phoenix College. She has been a member of the valley’s community theatre scene since 2015. She has produced work in a multitude of roles such as a scenic painter, actor, dramaturg, designer, and camp counselor. Her work focuses on highlighting opportunities for actors of color. Some past credits include: The 25th Annual...Spelling Bee (Charge Artist – Mesa Encore Theatre), Reggie Fluty in The Laramie Project (Actor/Props Designer/Graphic Designer – University of Montana), and Pixie in Magical Pixie Princess Fun Time Go (Actor/Costume Designer – Phoenix College, script by local artist Hamblet Lemus).
