Visionary Girls

Childsplay is partnering with the Phoenix Mercury to celebrate incredible young women in the state of Arizona. Visionary Girls is an award that recognizes young women (ages 18 and younger) who are innovators in our community. They may seek to solve a social problem, create new ways of engaging with the world around them, or have a unique vision that will make a difference now and in the future.

In conjunction with Childsplay's world premiere production of Girls Who Wear Glasses, Childsplay and the Mercury will recognize up to 10 Visionary Girls. Winners will be recognized from the stage throughout the run of the show. Additionally, the winners will receive four tickets to attend a performance of the play, tickets to a Mercury game and other exciting insider opportunities from both organizations.
Anyone may nominate a Visionary Girl. To qualify, the girl must be 18 or younger and currently living in Arizona (able to travel to Tempe for a performance). Nominations will be excepted through 10 a.m. on Friday, February 20th. Winners will be contacted by March 2nd.
