Games Dad Didn't Play is about a young man named Liam who's father has been incarcerated. He struggles with feelings of self-worth and has to deal with the misperceptions of his school and community. To escape, he uses creative play and storytelling. He imagines his father as a hero instead of a man who has done too many wrongs. He slowly accepts reality and finds ways to create new stories with his mother as they move on to a new home.
