The world’s most loved bedtime story comes to life! It’s seven o’clock in the great green room. It’s time to go to sleep but Bunny isn’t ready. With the help of his friends and a few moments of pure magic, he is finally ready to say goodnight. Imagine alongside the kittens and mittens, the bears and the chairs, the red balloon, and of course the moon! Make wonderful memories with your family in this musical version of the delightful tale. Approximate Run Time (Including 15-min Intermission & Q&A): 1 hr. 30 min.
We are very excited to announce that there will be Floor Seating available for Goodnight Moon. What does this mean? Just like storytime at home or at school, you will be able to enjoy the story curled up on the floor. The stage will be lowered to your level, and it is our hope that you and your family will feel as if you are inside The Great Green Room playing right next to Bunny and his friends! Childsplay and Tempe Center for the Arts will have cushions and carpet squares available for families to sit on. You are also welcome to bring your own pillow or blanket from home if you would like. There will be a 15 minute intermission during the show that will allow for you to get up and stretch your legs. Bunny and his friends hope to see you at the theatre very soon!
