About The Childsplay Kid Reporter Program
A Childsplay Kid Reporter will be invited to a Childsplay performance, where they will get an exclusive backstage tour and interview with cast members. Kid Reporters will write an article that will be published on our Kid Reporter blog and create a short video review of their experience to be shared with the world!
Each Kid Reporter will enjoy an "insider's" package at the theatre that includes:
The Kid Reporter will need to come to the show prepared with questions. These questions can be about the play, the performers, and anything else they want to know! Childsplay will help with these by providing some basic questions they can choose to use during the interview. (And we encourage mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, teachers or anyone else to help!) After the show, the Kid Reporter will go backstage for their exclusive interview with the cast. The Kid Reporter will have one week to submit his or her written article and video review. The article and video will then be published on our Kid Reporter blog and marketed in an email blast and on our social media sites! (Parent or Guardian will be required to sign a photo waiver).
If your child is interested in being a Childsplay Kid Reporter and is between the ages of 7-14, please send us a short video application of your Kid Reporter telling us why he/she wants to be a Childsplay Kid Reporter and why they think they are the best candidate for the job!
We will accept video applications in the following ways:
