Spencer Wareing started their Childsplay journey as a Kid Reporter over a decade ago and is thrilled to join the team as an Assistant Teacher! Spencer has fallen in love with all aspects of theatre, having performed across the Arizona valley: Diary of Anne Frank (Childsplay), She Kills Monsters: YA Edition (Saguaro HS), The Laramie Project (HYSA), and Midsummer Night's Dream (Tempe Preparatory)! Outside the spotlight and serving as the B3 Youth Playwright in Residence, Spencer rejoices in each opportunity to see their scripts come to life. A winner of the International Thespian Festival Thespy, Spencer has had scripts produced at B3 Theater, East Valley Children's Theatre, Dobbins Conservatory, Spotlight Youth Theatre, and the Phoenix Theatre New American Play Festival. An incoming sophomore at the Jeanine Larson Dobbins Conservatory, Spencer treasures all opportunities to perform and prefers ‘Break a Leg’ to ‘Good Luck’ any day!
