Scout Day FAQ

Thank you for your interest in bringing your troop to a Childsplay performance. Below you will find some of the most frequently asked questions we recieve about Scout Days:

How many tickets do I need to buy to recieve the special scout price?

A minimum purchase of 10 tickets is required. For groups of less than 10, please purchase single tickets through the Box Office by calling 602-252-8497.

Does the special scout ticket price apply to the troop leaders, parent chaperones and family members of scouts?
Yup! We can give that price to everyone in your group.

Can the troop members can bring a sibling to the show at the special scout ticket price?
Yes, that is fine. There is, however, a limit on space in the backstage tour – we can only have up to 40 people per tour backstage.

What is the length of the backstage tour that is included in the ticket price?
Backstage tours start immediately after the performance and run between 15-20 minutes. For public shows, a backstage tour is normally $3 per person. With this special Scout Discount, you get both the ticket and the backstage tour for the special scout price.

Are there any ticket fees that apply and if so, what are the fees?

There are NO additional ticket fees if you purchase through Childsplay

You can purchase tickets by calling (480) 921-5700. Our office is open M-F, 9am to 5pm. Group sales must be made prior to the weekend you are requesting tickets in order for Childsplay to fulfill yourt order.

Your tickets will be waiting for you at Will Call on the day of your performance. Please be prepared to show ID to claim your tickets.

Are you able to holding tickets?

We will only tickets once payment has been processed.

Can I get a refund?

There are no refunds once tickets have been purchased.

What time should the troop plan to arrive for the show?
We recommend coming between 20-30 minutes before the show starts. That way, if there is any traffic or if there is any late comers, no one misses the start of the show. Doors to the theater typicially open 30 minutes before the start of the performance.
