Three witches tell the Scottish general Macbeth that he will be King of Scotland. Encouraged by his wife, Macbeth kills the king, becomes the new king, and kills more people out of paranoia. Civil war erupts to overthrow Macbeth, resulting in more death. (Yeah, it's a lot.)
Take center stage with this skill-intensive performance class! Students refine acting skills through the process of auditioning, rehearsing, and performing in a full-length play taught by professional actors, directors, and choreographers straight off Childsplay's stages. The first two weeks of rehearsals are on our main campus and the final week students rehearse at the Tempe Center for the Arts with final performances on the last day of class.
