COVID-19 PROTOCOLS AT THE HERBERGER

 

ARE MASKS STILL REQUIRED AT YOUR PERFORMANCES?

No, masks are not required, but are still encouraged for all attendees ages 2+ while at the Herberger Theater Center.

 

All guests, volunteers, and staff are welcome to wear masks and/or face coverings should they feel more comfortable doing so.

 

PHYSICAL DISTANCING

Guests are welcome to maintain physical distance between themselves and other parties from different households when able to do so. 

 

CLEANING

In addition to overnight sanitation, we will have trained cleaning staff before, during, and after every event with guests. They will sanitize high touch points, restrooms, and other surfaces on an ongoing basis. That includes the audience area, restroom, box office, and backstage areas. They will also sanitize the chairs in seating areas after guests depart and prior to other guests using the chairs. Other precautions include, 

 

  • Hand sanitizer stations available at all touchpoints
  • Contactless ticketing: tickets will be available online and delivered through email. Ticket scanning for entry will also be touch free. 
  • Digital playbills: we are now offering digital playbills. The Box Office will have the information available for you to text and receive access to view on your mobile device.

 

RESTROOMS

Occupancy of the interior restrooms will be limited to ensure proper physical distancing. Ongoing sanitation of high touch surfaces will take place during all events.  

 

HEALTHY ASSOCIATES

Herberger Theater staff associates and volunteers as well as Childsplay Staff are required to be vaccinated and will submit daily health screening information, including temperature checks. Anyone reporting symptoms or not feeling well will not be permitted to be at or work at the theater.

CAN I STILL PURCHASE TICKETS AT THE BOX OFFICE?

Yes! The Herberger Theater Box Office will be open Monday - Thursday 11am - 4pm beginning in September. In the meantime, you may contact them at 602-252 -8497boxoffice@herbergertheater.org, or purchase your tickets online anytime.

 

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND/EXCHANGE POLICY THIS YEAR?

We want to make your experience as pleasant as possible. If you or someone in your group is feeling ill, or if you are uncomfortable with attending for any other reason, please let us know prior to curtain (showtime) for the performance you are scheduled to attend. We would be happy to issue you a refund or exchange for another date.

 

  • Please be sure to give the Box Office a heads up before curtain (showtime) or we will not be able to honor an exchange or refund! Contact them at 602-252-8497 or by email at boxoffice@herbergertheater.org. 

 

HOW MUCH ARE TICKETS?

Tickets start at $13 during our Storybook Previews and at $15 during all remaining dates. All tickets are subject to Herberger Box Office fees ($4-7.50). 

 

WHERE DO I PARK?

Nearby public parking facilities include the Chase Garage (enter from 1st or 2nd Streets between Monroe and Van Buren), Arizona Center Parking Garage (enter from 5th Street heading north from Van Buren or off of Fillmore west of 5th Street), and the Hyatt Garage (enter off 2nd Street just north of Adams and south of Monroe). CLICK HERE to download a parking map with pricing details. CAN I STILL PURCHASE A PARKING PASS FROM THE BOX OFFICE?

Yes! You may purchase a $6 parking pass for the Arizona Center Parking Garage during Box Office hours. If you have an unused parking pass from last season, you may also exchange it for a new parking pass if you wish. 

 

DISCOUNTED PARKING

The Herberger Theater Center offers discounted parking at the Arizona Center Parking Garage, which is located a short walk away from the theater at 5th Street & Fillmore. The parking pass will give you $6 parking, valid Monday-Friday from 5pm – 4am and all day on Saturday and Sunday. You can purchase a pass from the box office when you arrive at the theater. You will not need the parking validation pass until you exit the garage. 

 

WILL THERE BE CONCESSIONS AVAILABLE?

Yes! Concessions may be purchased at the concessions stand inside the theater lobby. No outside food or drinks are permitted.

 

I WOULD LIKE ASL INTERPRETION. HOW DO I ASK FOR PREFERRED SEATING?

Please contact the Box Office to reserve your seats on our ASL dates.  

 

I WOULD LIKE ADA SEATING. HOW DO I ASK FOR PREFERRED SEATING?

ADA seating is readily available online, select the option when you purchase, or by contacting the Box Office.
