No, masks are not required, but are still encouraged for all attendees ages 2+ while at the Herberger Theater Center.
All guests, volunteers, and staff are welcome to wear masks and/or face coverings should they feel more comfortable doing so.
Guests are welcome to maintain physical distance between themselves and other parties from different households when able to do so.
In addition to overnight sanitation, we will have trained cleaning staff before, during, and after every event with guests. They will sanitize high touch points, restrooms, and other surfaces on an ongoing basis. That includes the audience area, restroom, box office, and backstage areas. They will also sanitize the chairs in seating areas after guests depart and prior to other guests using the chairs. Other precautions include,
Occupancy of the interior restrooms will be limited to ensure proper physical distancing. Ongoing sanitation of high touch surfaces will take place during all events.
Herberger Theater staff associates and volunteers as well as Childsplay Staff are required to be vaccinated and will submit daily health screening information, including temperature checks. Anyone reporting symptoms or not feeling well will not be permitted to be at or work at the theater.
Yes! The Herberger Theater Box Office will be open Monday - Thursday 11am - 4pm beginning in September. In the meantime, you may contact them at 602-252 -8497, boxoffice@herbergertheater.org, or purchase your tickets online anytime.
We want to make your experience as pleasant as possible. If you or someone in your group is feeling ill, or if you are uncomfortable with attending for any other reason, please let us know prior to curtain (showtime) for the performance you are scheduled to attend. We would be happy to issue you a refund or exchange for another date.
Tickets start at $13 during our Storybook Previews and at $15 during all remaining dates. All tickets are subject to Herberger Box Office fees ($4-7.50).

Yes! You may purchase a $6 parking pass for the Arizona Center Parking Garage during Box Office hours. If you have an unused parking pass from last season, you may also exchange it for a new parking pass if you wish.
The Herberger Theater Center offers discounted parking at the Arizona Center Parking Garage, which is located a short walk away from the theater at 5th Street & Fillmore. The parking pass will give you $6 parking, valid Monday-Friday from 5pm – 4am and all day on Saturday and Sunday. You can purchase a pass from the box office when you arrive at the theater. You will not need the parking validation pass until you exit the garage.
Yes! Concessions may be purchased at the concessions stand inside the theater lobby. No outside food or drinks are permitted.
