Childsplay has been touring to Arizona's schools since 1977 and the school tour program remains the cornerstone of the company today. Sets and costumes, sound equipment and actors pack in to a van and come to your school site.

Tomás and the Library Lady

Tomás loves stories! Grandfather tells them every night during the summer when the family leaves Texas to pick crops in Iowa. But soon Tomas knows all the stories by heart and that’s when Papa Grande tells him about the library. When Tomas meets the library lady nothing is ever the same again.

A heartwarming story about love and letting go. Lyf’s parents have kept him safe in their nest and not let him learn to fly. Into Lyf’s world burst a hilarious pair of fast-talking twins who have snuck away from “flock” school on a quest for adventure. Lyf is amazed by their cavalier attitude towards flying, but will his parents’ secret reason for protecting Lyf be enough to keep him from the skies? This story about a child’s instinct to grow and a parent’s instinct to protect holds an unexpected twist that will leave you smiling for days. A Childsplay world premiere!
