Childsplay Summer Academy 2011

Location - We offer classes at two Tempe locations. The Campus for Imagination and Wonder (CIW), 900 S. Mitchell Drive, and the Tempe Performing Arts Center (TPAC), 132 W. Sixth Street.

Sharings - All single and multi-week classes will have a
sharing for families on the last day of class.
Refunds - Registrations are final and there are no refunds.
Medication Policy - Childsplay staff are unable to administer any medications to program participants, including EpiPens.
Wait List – To be placed on the waiting list for a FULL class, call Jaime at 480-921-5751.
A musical a week! This class will focus on singing, dancing and acting while rehearsing a condensed version of a popular musical to share with family on the last day of class.

Our Town
"Our Town?"
This class will explore the themes, plot and characters of Thornton Wilder’s Our Town. Through writing, improvisation and scene work, the class will discover the connections and the parallels between the lives of the citizens of Grovers Corner, New Hampshire, and the lives of 21st century Arizona teenagers. What makes a community “Our Town?”

Childsplay offers extended care before and after classes for students ages 6 and up at both the CIW and TPAC locations.
Morning Session 7:30-9:30 a.m.: $30 per week
Afternoon Session: 3:30-5:30 p.m.: $30 per week
Morning and Afternoon Sessions: $50 per week
Tempe resident discount does not apply to extended care.
